Dark & AMOLED.

Each design here has at least 30% of its pixels close to black, and the number on every card is the exact share we measured on the full-size master. We sort by it, so the top of the page is as dark as the collection gets.

On an OLED display a black pixel is a pixel that is barely lit, so dark wallpapers are easier on the eyes at night and do save a little power, though less than the internet usually claims. On a foldable they do one more useful thing: the crease catches light, and a dark, low-contrast centre is where it is least visible.

A dark wallpaper also needs bright detail somewhere, or the lock screen is just a black slab. Most of these keep their light inside the central strip, which is also the part the cover screen shows when the phone is folded.
