Why it works on the fold
Glowing cracks in black basalt. The hiding is done by contrast rather than by pattern: a fold in near-black basalt is almost invisible, and the few hot lines are what the eye actually lands on. Warm light against true black also makes an OLED panel look deeper than it is.
Two screens, one artwork
Both sizes are cropped from the same artwork — a wide cut for the unfolded inner screen, a tall one for the cover — so the phone looks consistent open or closed. Downloading only one? Take the size for the screen you look at most.
