Why it works on the fold
Indigo and violet dust lanes, darkest along the crease. The subject is not really the nebula: it is that a fold falls into darkness, with no hard edge and no highlight to catch the seam. Built as a background first — everything else on the screen stays the brightest thing on it.
Two screens, one artwork
Both sizes are cropped from the same artwork — a wide cut for the unfolded inner screen, a tall one for the cover — so the phone looks consistent open or closed. Downloading only one? Take the size for the screen you look at most.
