Natural Wonders.

Waterfalls, waves and skies that treat the fold as a feature of the view.

Landscapes are where a fold is hardest to hide and easiest to use. Water has no straight edges, so a crest or a fall line absorbs the crease without any effort. A horizon needs more care — it has to sit off the centre line, or the display looks broken.

A waterfall that falls down the hinge, a bolt that strikes along it, a path that vanishes into it: each of these gives the crease a job in the scene.

These are the designs most people keep the longest. They are bright, they are recognisable, and nobody has to explain them.
