Why it works on the fold
The galactic core rising over a desert arch. A desert arch is a natural frame, and a dense star field gives the crease something to dissolve into — more stars is exactly what a seam looks like at night. Quiet through the lower half, so widgets stay legible.
Two screens, one artwork
Both sizes are cropped from the same artwork — a wide cut for the unfolded inner screen, a tall one for the cover — so the phone looks consistent open or closed. Downloading only one? Take the size for the screen you look at most.
