Why it works on the fold
An ancient samurai mask on one panel, a neon cyber helmet on the other, split at the hinge. The two halves share a silhouette, which is what keeps the fold from reading as a seam between two unrelated pictures. High contrast, so most of it survives on a dimmed display.
